We're still technically in the preseason, but I was able to scare up a few Friday afternoon links to hold you over until the game tonight:
• Cal State-San Bernardino trailed UCLA by just three at halftime in the exhibition on Wednesday. But Jordan Adams and the Bruins cruised to a big win in the end. Meanwhile, Travis Wear is out with appendicitis.
• Cal's freshman class showed up big last night in the exhibition against Humboldt State.
• The Oregon State Beavers defeated someone, or something, named Corbin in an exhibition on Tuesday. The Oregonian lists four takeaways from the game, starting with the return of Angus Brandt.
• Arizona State is looking forward to Jermaine Marshall's debut as a Sun Devil next Friday.
• Washington State has the Pac-12's other exhibition game tonight. They play Central Washington.
• Freshman Nigel Williams-Goss is "already the most vocal Husky on the floor."
• The Arizona Daily Star takes a stab at its Preseason Pac-12 Star Squad. No real surprises.
